Hi 👋🏼 I'm Kaori.
I'm a hands-on creative director and designer building brands by translating stories into cohesive, distinctive visual experiences that connect across media, entertainment, technology, and culture.
Over the past 15+ years, I've partnered with brands and studios and led teams from concept to launch, spanning campaigns, products, editorial, social, experiential, and everything in between. Whether I'm designing a logo or building brand voice and systems that scale, I'm happiest making thoughtful work that feels both beautifully crafted and strategically grounded with clarity.
I have led brand & design at Newfangled Studios, Vox Media, NBCUniversal, Paramount, and co-founded the design studio Lifelong Friendship Society.
Additional clients include Adidas, Intel, Anthropologie, Google, TriBeCa Film Festival, Spin Magazine, non-profit organizations, start-ups, and more.
