Missing Black Women is a documentary airing on Tubi that brings to light the epidemic of missing Black women in the United States of America. The documentary follows the families of several missing women as they struggle to search for information on what happened to their loved ones.
The documentary conveys a strong sense of loss, uneasiness, confusion, and struggle with many unknowns in its journey. This direction utilizes out-of-focus images and reveling animation to typography to convey that feeling on top of the story. Ultimately, everything comes into focus with the logo locked up to create a sense of resolution.
